Jesus claims an intimate knowledge of the Father, because He is from the Father who sent Him (Jn. 7:29). Our knowledge of our heavenly Father will only be gleaned by our genuine connection with Jesus. Since He and the Father are one (Jn. 10:30), then to know Jesus is to know the Father. To love Jesus with all our heart, is to also love the Father and the Spirit.
Today, draw close to Jesus, and let Him, the Father and the Spirit deliver us from evil.
Lord Jesus, to “see You is to see the Father”, because “You are in the Father and the Father is in You”. May we choose to be so closely united with You, that when people see our ardent love for You, they will realise that You are “the way, the truth and the life”. Amen.
