As we begin the Season of Lent, let us return to the Lord with all our heart (Jl. 2:12), for He is gracious and merciful (Jl. 2:13). May we allow the Holy Spirit to rekindle the fire of faith so that our journey will result in discovering new springs of grace, hope and strength.
Contemplate the following during our Lenten days :
L - let every moment be an opportunity to pray (Mt. 6:6)
E - everything belongs to God, so share with all (Mt. 6:3)
N - no need to eat and drink everything you have (Mt. 6:18)
T - thank God for all the blessings He bestows (Jl. 2:14)
Lord Jesus, You came in love and mercy to save us and restore us to Your friendship. May we never hesitate to give You our hearts, and to worship You as You deserve. Amen.
