We serve a loving God who is rich in mercy, full of compassion and generous with grace. Our Lord generously gave His entire self on the cross for our salvation. His willingness to obey His Father for our benefit elicits our praise and gratitude.
Our response as Disciples is to reveal the Lord’s generosity to others. Levi’s encounter with the Lord stirred him to share his resources (Lk. 5:27-32). Our daily prayerful presence with the Lord should spur us to be generous Stewards for His glory.
Lord Jesus, You generously offered Your life for the salvation of the world. Help us to reveal Your love by our generous show of love, mercy and the sharing of our blessings. Amen.
