The gospel of John portrays a Jesus who has full knowledge and control of the events that unfold. Jesus is the Word who became man. Knowing all things, Jesus knows that Judas is the one who will betray Him and Peter will deny Him (Jn. 13:21-38). Jesus, who knows He will conquer sin and death, invites us to follow. Him. Let us walk with Him into eternal life.
Lord Jesus, You know everything. You knew that we needed to be rescued from sin and death. As we journey through this Holy Week, may our contemplation of Your sacrifice on the cross lead to our choosing a holy way of life through Your grace and blood. Amen.
