The Kingdom of God is not about competition but about collaboration. Each believer is chosen by the Lord to bear fruit (Jn. 15:9-17). Since each individual is unique, then the fruits borne will also be different.
We should therefore seek to encourage each other to use our time, talent and treasure to bear fruits. Whether through the spiritual or corporal works of mercy; or through sharing the good news by word of mouth or social media, all should play our part.
Lord Jesus, You chose each of us to participate in building Your Kingdom by yielding to Your Spirit and bearing fruit for Your glory. May we appreciate the fact that we are not competitors in a race, but collaborators on a journey. Amen.
