What great joy to hear that we — and all our loved ones who have died — who believe in the Lord will be raised on the last day (Jn. 6:35-40). Such glorious hope to know that we will all be reunited one day. But until then, let us place our trust daily in our Lord of life. His power to raise us up is not restricted only to the last day. In truth, any state of sadness; anxiety; fear; worry or illness, the Lord will lift us in His arms and give us real joy.
Lord Jesus, You who were raised from the dead, have revealed Your power to raise us up from any context or state that threatens to keep us down. May we trust in Your goodness at all times, and choose to live our lives in praise of Your holy name. Amen.
