Believers joyfully proclaim, “Christ is risen” during the Easter Season. Like the Incarnation, which we celebrate during Christmas, the Resurrection is so powerful and life-changing that it becomes a ‘Jesus party’ all season long. There is real joy in the risen Lord.
Like Mary Magdalene (Jn. 20:11-18), many believers would have joined a face to face or online worship service on Easter Sunday. Now the task to renew and revitalise our families and world recommences. As witnesses of the Lord, let us bring new life to all.
Lord Jesus, we dance, sing and happily proclaim You are not dead, but are alive eternally. May our gladness of knowing that You live, lead us to embrace and share Your power, love and mercy to everyone in our lives. Amen.
