Loving, praying and caring for another person does not equate to controlling, manipulating or worrying over the individual. Jesus makes this clear to Peter (Jn. 21:22). Our faith in God is translated in our commitment to follow Him, and surrendering ourselves and others into His powerful hands and mysterious purpose. Let His will be done.
Lord Jesus, You created each of us with a purpose for Your glory. Help us to listen to Your voice, to follow Your lead, and to daily surrender everyone and everything into Your care. Amen.
