Easter Bytes

People imitate the god they worship. So when others see us, do they see Jesus shining through our lives? He said, “Whoever sees me, sees the One who sent me” (Jn. 12:45). Our Lord is the image of His Father (Col. 1:15). As Jesus reflects His Father, so we are to reflect Him in every area of our daily lives.

But we are limited human beings who sometimes hide the Lord from others because of our weakness and sins. This reality keeps us humble, because Jesus came not to condemn but to save us (Jn. 12:47). If nothing else, pray that our words, choices and actions reveal our God who loves, forgives and wants all to be saved.

Lord Jesus, to see You is to see our Heavenly Father. Pour Your Holy Spirit upon us, so that we may do our best to reveal Your saving presence to all who we encounter. Amen.

Blessings,

Fr. Howie
