Jesus declares that the kingdom of God belongs to children (Mk. 10:13-16). Children have so much to learn; are ready to play, and have no worries about tomorrow. When adults open themselves to learning how their lives are to be guided by the word of God and not their own thoughts; are ready to play in peace rather than be at war, and trust in the Lord to truly supply our daily needs, it is then that we live as kingdom people. Lord Jesus, teach us how to be guided as children so that we may live as adults in whom You are well pleased. May our work and play bring joy to Your heart and a smile on Your face. Amen.
