We are all called by God to work and build His kingdom. To do this, our Lord gives each of us unique gifts to be used for His glory. If we miss these two key spiritual realities, then we will see other disciples as competitors rather than collaborators. As it was in Jesus’ time (Mk. 9:38-40), so it is today. Choose to see each other not as threats, but as co-workers who are working for the same goal and God. Lord Jesus, You empower us so that our lives of service may used to advance Your glory. May we see the value and beauty of working together to build Your kingdom. Amen.
