What is the true state of your heart at this precise moment? With all the things we say and do, Jesus warns us that “evil comes from within and they defile” (Mk. 7:23). If our hearts are filled with malice, anger, envy, thoughts and attitudes rooted in darkness, then we fail to radiate the light we are made to be. Pray for purity in our hearts, so that we may see God.
Lord Jesus, You know the real state of our minds and hearts. Heal our minds when we do not focus on You. Purify our hearts so that we can truly be beautiful ‘inside and outside’. May Your grace mould our hearts so that we can authentically serve You in this life, and see You face to face in the life that is to come. Amen.
