We know that the Lord is everywhere. But with this thought comes the reality of taking Him for granted. We somehow ignore or forget that He is always present. That is why it is very important to intentionally ‘give’ the Lord a time and place.
Solomon recognised the need to build a holy place for the Lord where He will ‘dwell’ and the people will worship (1 Kgs. 8:1-13). The people deliberately went to the places where Jesus was staying to ask for healing (Mk. 6:53-56).
Today, make the time and place to meet the Lord and pour out your hearts to Him. He will always listen to the cries from our lips and the intentions in our minds. When we choose to acknowledge Him in our prayer and in Church, His healing will be granted.
Lord Jesus, heal us and all the people we carry with us into Your saving presence. May our gratitude be evident by the quality ‘love time’ we spend with You. Amen.
