No matter how small the act of goodness done for the good of another person and for the glory of God, He honours this ‘seed’ and makes it grow. The parables taught by Jesus in today’s gospel (Mk. 4:26-34) shows that once the ‘seed’ is planted, all we have to do is trust in the Lord and He will give the increase. Today, plant a seed for the Lord.
Lord Jesus, Your birth was the seed that led to Your growth and the eventual fruit of eternal life for us all. Help us to never hesitate to plant seeds for the growth of Your kingdom. Amen.
