When He lived on earth, Jesus chose His disciples (Mk. 3:13-19). Now He reigns eternally in heaven, and through His Spirit, He chooses any and all who desire His company. Since we are chosen by the Lord to be formed, blessed and sent, then let us daily choose to be effective signs of His presence, living incarnations of good news for others.
Lord Jesus, You choose and anoint us with Your Spirit so that we can be emissaries of love and mercy in this world. May our lives reflect Your goodness and grace at all times. Amen.
