There is nothing more beautiful than genuine love. As beings created by God who is love, we best mirror our God when we reveal love to all. By its very nature, love is neither limited nor destructive. True love is reciprocal and life-giving.
We practice different types of love such as is evident in our love for friends, children, pets or spouse (Mk. 12:18-27). But our deepest love connection is with our God. Our response to God’s love in this life will result in our eternal heavenly union.
Loving Lord, Your love for us knows no bounds. Help us to embrace Your love in our lives, to share it willingly with others, and to look forward with eager faith to live with You forever. Amen.
