Never underestimate the power of the ‘small stuff’ in life. Like the mustard seed and wheat (Mt. 13:31-35), things that start small can grow into much bigger forms. The little acts of kindness such as an encouraging or positive word, a sincere prayer for another’s benefit, or even refusing to repay evil for evil, can all be used by God to build His kingdom and each other. Today, ensure that the ‘little’ offerings we make all have the potential to grow into beauty.

Lord Jesus, You are the mustard seed that has grown into the massive tree of eternal life. May the small acts of our words, choices and actions bring You joy. Amen.

Blessings,

Fr. Howie
