If we acknowledge God as “Our Father”, then we are one family of God. If we say Jesus is our Brother, then we do the will of our Father to affirm our family bond (Mt. 12:46-50). It is important for each of us to constantly reflect on our intentions, words and actions to see if our lives strengthen our bond with God and each other. Where we honestly own, or allow God’s grace to reveal, areas in our lives that weaken that bond, we pray for healing.
Lord Jesus, You bless and empower us to do our Father’s will, so that we can be identified as Your family. May all that we do be a celebration of life and Your love. Amen.
