When our lives are centered in the Lord, we have all we need. He who sends us into the world to proclaim the good news, gives us the assurance that He will supply our material and spiritual necessities (Mt. 10:7-15). We worship a generous God.
Jesus gives us two important injunctions in our evangelization: give the gift of peace to all, even if we encounter restless people; and remain steadfast to the mission, even in the face of rejection (Mt. 10:13-15). Our aim is to advance His eternal kingdom.
Lord Jesus, You fortify us to be workers in Your vineyard, and to use our blessings for the building of Your kingdom. May our work give You honour and delight. Amen.
