Our Lord desires and actually heals all our infirmities (Mt. 8:5-17). Life is lived through our moments of health and illness. We learn not to take our health for granted each time we fall ill. This should stir us to give thanks to God when we are well, and trust in His power when we are sick. Ask in faith for His healing, and believe that we will receive the Lord’s favour.
Touch us Lord. Heal us Lord. Have mercy on us and fill us with Your grace that is sufficient for the journey of life. May we never fail to trust in Your saving power. Amen.
