The Lord loves a cheerful giver (2 Cor. 9:7). When we give without any agenda except to please the Lord, pray to Him not out of duty but because of love, and fast so as to create more room in our lives for the Holy Spirit, it is then that our cheerful giving becomes the basis for heavenly reward (Mt. 6:1-6, 16-18). Give with a willing and loving heart.
Lord Jesus, You gave Yourself completely for our salvation so that we can choose to give ourselves and all that we have back to You. Bless us as we joyfully share Your love. Amen.
