We are a people empowered by the Spirit to be on mission. Whether in the comfort our homes (dens and nests), or the many responsibilities outside the home — making a living or burying the dead — our priority is the building of God’s kingdom (Mt. 8:18-22). Values lived and faith in our God should combine to make a positive difference in our world.
Lord Jesus, Your priority was to die so that we may be saved. Help us to put You and Your kingdom first in our lives. May our missionary mindset and activities contribute to making our family, society and country, places of life and real joy. Amen.
