What is the measure we give to others? Are we truly generous, selectively generous or stingy with kind and encouraging words? Do we follow through on our promises? Are our actions leading to life and joy? The Lord tells us that the “measure we give is measured out back to us” (Mt. 7:1-5). Seek to imitate the Lord who measures only good to all people.
Lord Jesus, Your love for us and the goodness You pour are without measure. As we accept and gratefully receive from You, teach us how to generously share words and actions that will bring life to others. Amen.
