Today we begin our Corpus Christi Triduum. Over the next three days (Thursday, Friday and Saturday), Mass will be celebrated at 6:00pm with an intentional focus and reflection on the Eucharist. The exposition and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be observed.
To adore the Lord in the gift of the Eucharist is to recognise the will of the Father being done on earth and in heaven (Mt. 6:7-15). Jesus our Saviour came to draw us back to Him by the forgiveness of our sins. It is only fitting to pray to the Lord in His holy house.
Loving Lord, You left heaven to come to earth so that earth could rise to heaven and be with You forever. Teach us to embrace Your will and to give glory to Your name. Amen.
