When an individual chooses to be a ‘light’ for Christ — the Light of the world — you will disturb the darkness in others. The light of love which brings peace, will always upset the darkness of restlessness which results in war. Light and darkness will be in conflict.
Jesus states that those who give up everything to follow Him will experience rewards and persecutions (Mk. 10:28-31). The latter is a direct result of the darkness that is troubled. We either remain in the dark that spurs death, or choose the light that leads to life
Lord Jesus, Your light will always overcome the darkness. Help us to choose Your light over darkness, so that we may all walk into eternal life. Amen.
