As we approach Valentine’s Day, we know that the only way to have a real ‘heart to heart’ connection is to spend time with each other away from the distracting crowd. Jesus did this with the deaf man (Mk. 7:31-37), which resulted in the latter’s healing and having a bond with the Lord. We too are invited to cultivate ‘alone time’ with our God, so as to allow His healing hand to invigorate our lives, His voice to inflame our hearts and His presence to stir us to joy, as we get lost in the Spirit’s warm embrace.
Let love reign forever.
Lord Jesus, fill us with Your Spirit of love. May we choose to dedicate time to being in Your saving presence, so that our love for You may flow to all in our lives. Amen.
