When we come into the presence of the Lord in prayer, we are approaching the “throne of grace to receive mercy, and to find grace for timely help” (Heb. 4:16). This should inspire us to neither fear the Lord, nor find excuses to be absent from prayer.
Our God loves us to such an extent, that He not only gives us His Spirit to help us to pray, but also grants peace, comfort and joy when we come into His saving presence. Make time to commune with our Lord daily, and experience the blessings He offers.
Lord Jesus, You are our Provider, Protector and Saviour. Help us to choose to draw close to You, to experience Your luminous presence, and celebrate Your goodness forever. Amen.
