Today is the end of this Liturgical Year. Tomorrow we begin a new year with the Season of Advent. We are encouraged to be vigilant and keep watch in prayer (Lk. 21:36) as we await the Lord’s return. Let us plan and prepare to welcome our God. May He find us ready and joyful to receive Him every day, even as we await His second coming.
Come Lord Jesus, and be pleased to find us watching and waiting for You. May our lives be a celebration of Your love in the present, and an anticipation of eternal life with You in the future. Amen.
