The night soon gives way to the light of day. Weeping subsides and yields to joyful smiles. Suffering eventually ebbs away in the presence of healing. No matter the violence or wars; natural calamities or engineered disasters; the shaking of heaven or disruption on earth, our God comes to us with power and glory to assure our salvation (Lk. 21:20-28). The only appropriate response is to thank Him.
Today, may our gratitude to God be evidenced by the worship we offer, the love we share and the confident trust we have in Him.
Loving Father, may we Your children always love You with every fibre of our being. May our thanks and praise for Your goodness in our lives be acceptable sacrifices in Your eyes. Amen.
