Many are tired of the pandemic restrictions and conforming to the COVID-19 guidelines. Some are tired of masks, and are frustrated in not hugging nor being able to spend quality time with family and friends. The joys of life have been temporarily sapped.
These realities also impact our spiritual lives. Absence from Church with no Communion nor fellowship, and waning prayer lives can lead to depression. But our Lord reminds us that our perseverance in trusting Him will lead to our security (Lk. 21:19).
Trust in the Lord at all times, and do not lean towards our own understanding. He is in charge.
Lord Jesus, You faithfully trusted in Your Father’s love and power in every moment of Your life. Teach us to persevere in our faith in You, and to look to the future with hope. Amen.
