The end. We are in the last day few days of this Liturgical Year and only a few weeks away from the termination of this Calendar Year. Our readings focus on the end times, where we hear and see “mighty signs” (Lk. 21:5-11) confirmed by Jesus.
It is worth noting that He speaks of “kingdom against kingdom” (Lk. 21:10). We acclaim Jesus as King, and know that His kingdom is about love, mercy, kindness and peace. The kingdom of the world is its opposite. Which kingdom do you choose?
Lord Jesus, we celebrate Your Kingship in our lives. May Your grace bathe and fill us, so that we will live and identify ourselves as citizens who are happy in Your kingdom. Amen.
