What is this “Kingdom of God among you” that Jesus proclaims (Lk. 17:21)? Jesus not only ushers in the reign of God, but also reveals through His person the values to be gleaned. He who ‘took flesh’ and related with us to reveal His Father, now invites us to understand that our relationships with each other are meant to help us draw closer to our God. The virtues of faith, hope and love are to colour our lives. As Kingdom people, ours is the task to build His Kingdom by trusting Him, being merciful and living in peace.
Loving Father, accept our sacrifice of praise and service for Your glory. May we who follow Your Son allow Your Spirit to help us to live and love as Your Kingdom people. Amen.
