How are we to be pronounced with blessings in life? Jesus gives the simple but profound answer, that when we hear the word of God and observe it, we are blessed (Lk. 11:28). It is true that we do not always observe it, but even in failing to respond to the word of God, if we listen and repent, this word assures us of His mercy and unfailing love.
Today, choose to listen to the Lord’s word. It imparts peace and will lead us into life.
Lord Jesus, You are Word made flesh. You command and we are brought into life. You speak and our sins are forgiven. Help us to listen, and observe all that You say. Amen.
