Today we celebrate the Feast of the Archangels: Michael, Raphael and Gabriel. Angels are gifts from our God who do His will perfectly. They represent the Lord as they deliver His messages. They guard us and fight for us. They deliver us from harm. They give constant praise to our God. They ascend and descend on the Son of Man (Jn. 1:51) as they glorify the Light and Saviour of the world. Give thanks for these Angels and imitate them.
Loving Father, You create everything that is good. You create Angels to do Your will. You send them to be messengers and protectors of us all. We thank You for their presence in our lives. May we choose to imitate their goodness and be Angels for others. Amen.
