Who is a wise person? The truly wise person is one who is faced with choices in life, and consistently chooses the path that leads to eternal life with the Lord. This choice starts in the here and now. Wisdom dictates that our present determines our future.
Believers choose the presence and daily company of the Lord. When He identifies us as family because we live by His word (Lk. 8:19-21), then life becomes a rehearsal for the real celebration of heaven. Let the wisdom of God be our guide in all aspects of life.
Loving Lord, help us to prove ourselves wise by daily seeking Your company and guidance. May the choices we make lead to our growth in holiness and gain eternity with You. Amen.
