The Lord sends us just as He sent the Twelve (Mk. 6:7-13). Since we are sent to present Christ to the world, we need to ponder, what type of Christ do we present to others? Are we revealing a truly loving, merciful, patient and powerful Christ who desires that we all spend eternity with Him? The Christ we present is to be the key to another’s faith in Him.
Lord Jesus, You who are goodness and kindness incarnate, have chosen to call and send us to reveal You to others. May we rise above our weakness and selfishness, so that we may be worthy emissaries who present You in a manner that will draw others to You. Amen.
