COVID-19 fatigue. We are tired of staying home, feeling restricted and unable to be as free and normal as we once were. Although the feelings of frustration are present, we are still required to follow the directives and persevere through it all.
Jesus highlights “perseverance” as a virtue that will secure our lives (Lk. 21:19). Whether it be the persecutions faced by believers or the prohibitions enforced in a pandemic, faith in our God and obedience to the guidelines will keep us safe.
Lord Jesus, You tell us that if we persevere through the difficulties of life, we will receive our crown of glory. May our steadfast reliance on Your grace give us strength and courage. Amen.
