We can pray anywhere at any time. But the Lord tells us that, “My house shall be a house of prayer” (Lk. 19:46), affirming the words of the ancient prophet (Is. 56:7). Our Father wants our company in His house to commune with Him and each other.
This current pandemic has caused us to take precautions for everyone’s safety. However it is strange how many of God’s people find courage to go to many crowded places, but are afraid to go to an empty Church. Come, let us return to the Lord’s house of prayer.
Loving Father, as You guide us throughout the journey of our lives, help us to recall that the safest place to be is in Your presence. Accept the prayers we offer from Your house. Amen.
