Our life is spent harnessing energy and expending it. The former is achieved from a proper diet, rest and relaxation. The latter is spent on work, study and fulfilling various duties. We garner energy in order to attend to what we deem important and priority in our lives.
When it comes to our spiritual lives, how much energy do we apply for our growth and real development? Do we use our energy to walk in the way of the Lord rather than the way of the world? Using energy for the Lord leads to our salvation (Lk. 17:33).
Lord Jesus, You poured out Your energy for our benefit and Your blood for our redemption. May we use the gifts of our time and energy to always draw closer to You. Amen.
