When we assess what is truly important to us, that will become our focus and will consume most of our energy. Work, study and exercise are all important aspects of our lives. These do require our diligent attention as we strive to do our best.
The challenge for each individual is to see the presence of the Lord in all our daily activities. God is not ‘competing’ with our goals, but desires to accompany us and be included in all we do. Praising His faithful presence prevents a divided heart (Lk. 16:9-15).
Lord Jesus, You are the Alpha and Omega of all times and things. May we always show our gratitude by placing You first, middle and last in all our daily endeavours. Amen.
