Our God is constantly at work for our benefit. He who made us and calls us ‘good’, is never hesitant to provide, protect and please us as His children. The problem is we either take His love and providence for granted, or quickly forget His goodness in our lives.
Jesus refers to this ingratitude and forgetfulness among the people where the mighty deeds of God are concerned (Lk. 10:13-16). The works of our God are meant to prompt growth in love and holiness in our lives. Today, thank the Lord and live to please Him.
Loving Father, You give us all that we need because You love us. May we show mutual love for You, and reveal our gratitude by the praise and service we offer for Your glory. Amen.
