If we are to be just as productive as Peter and the disciples (Lk. 5:1-11) in gathering people for the Lord, three things can be gleaned:
1. Pay attention to what the Lord is saying. His instructions lead to a bountiful ‘catch’ (5:4).
2. Our sins pale in comparison to the grace He supplies. It empowers us for action (5:8).
3. Recognise the value of calling others for assistance. They are gifts from God (5:7).
May you have a blessed day ‘netting’ people for the Lord’s beautiful kingdom.
Lord Jesus, fill us with Your grace so that our lives may attract others to You. Amen.
