Given the rise of Omicron cases worldwide, we are encouraged to maintain the guidelines to keep ourselves safe. Yes, it is frustrating and most of us are exasperated. We pray for an end to this pandemic. In the meantime, what do we practically do to keep our sanity?
One way to do this is to not lose our focus on our God. We have to trust in the Lord’s power. Mary and Elizabeth did this (Lk. 1:39-45) and their joy was infectious. The joy of the Lord will be ours when we yield to Him. He will keep us sane during these challenging times.
Loving Father, help us. We Your children are always in need of Your strength. May Your grace keep us safe, abide by Your word and fill us with authentic joy. Amen.
