The night comes quickly this time of year in our region. Our lights are turned on earlier so that we see and navigate our way. In the spiritual life, the darkness of sin can quickly creep into our lives. In these days of coping with a pandemic, we can easily be blanketed with worry, anxiety, anger or fear. But if we keep crying out to Jesus, imitating the two blind men (Mt. 9:27-31), He will give us the light we need to walk peacefully in faith.
Lord Jesus, speak Your word of light and remove the darkness from our minds and hearts. May we walk in the light of faith and be at peace in knowing You are by our side. Amen.
