Are you currently experiencing any barrenness in your life? Are you unable to pray; robbed of peace, or even struggle to forgive and show love? Do you feel as if you are aimlessly drifting through the days of your life, or even see no hope in the present or future?
We will have these dry periods in our lives. But we who trust in the Lord, are assured that God who brought new life and joy into the lives of two barren women (Jgs. 13:2; Lk. 1:7), will do the same for us. Have faith in God. He will turn our wilderness into an oasis.
Loving Father, You are our God who supplies all our needs. Help us to trust You, especially in the arid moments of our lives, so that we can rejoice when You turn our dryness into a spring of new joy. Amen.
