Jesus goes to the temple to dispel the darkness of ignorance by the light of His teaching to any who would listen and learn (Mt. 21:23). When we go to Church or to our ‘closet’ to pray, do we invite the Lord to help us to listen to Him, so that we can grow in knowledge and real wisdom? Our faith lives must be ‘watered’ with ongoing lessons from the light of Scripture and the teachings of the Church. The more we learn, the more we will grow.
Lord Jesus, You are the source of true wisdom that leads us into life. Teach us and help us to listen, so that as we learn from You, we may have the courage to teach others. Amen.
