Daily Byte

Despite the re-opening of institutions and the relaxation of certain restrictions, we should not forget that the COVID-19 pandemic is still in existence. Now more than ever, we are to be conscious of doing what is still necessary for our safety and our neighbour’s good. We are commanded to “do to others what we would have them do to us” (Mt. 7:12). We have to wear our masks and practice physical distancing as is required. Obedience to the Lord’s voice promotes holiness. Obedience to the stated guidelines leads to life for all. Lord Jesus, help us to exercise practical care and genuine love by our positive response to Your word and the regulations stated in our current context of life. May Your Spirit guide us to do what leads to holiness and life for everyone’s benefit. Amen.

Blessings,

Fr. Howie
