Today's Byte

We worship and serve an all-knowing God. The Lord assures us, "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you" (Jer. 1:5). He who formed Isaiah, John the Baptist, all the prophets and disciples, is the same God who forms every believer to be His servants before we were born (Is. 49:5). The hand of the Lord is with us (Lk. 1:66). This beautiful truth should inspire confidence and hope. Since God knows everything, then it means that before we were born, He already knows every moment of celebration and conflict, of praise or persecution, of harmony or heartache. For each person and circumstance, God supplies the grace that leads to victory. Lord Jesus, Your love and grace are more than sufficient for me. Help me to trust in Your power to carry me safely into the joys of Your eternal kingdom. Amen.
