Do we make room in our daily lives to be surprised by the Lord? We can either get so comfortable or so complacent with the routine, that we miss the miracles that our Lord performs. Today we hear how Peter, in the power of the Spirit, healed Aeneas who was paralysed (Acts 9:32-35) and raised Tabitha from the dead (Acts 9:36-40).

If we choose to pay attention, then we will see the power of Christ in the steps of our lives. The blessing of a new day filled with the beauty of creation should fill our hearts with awe and gratitude. The impact of God's word and Spirit to change lives are gifts for which we give thanks. Today, expect something new from God.

Lord Jesus, may Your grace help me to recognise and praise You for the daily wonders You perform in our lives. Amen.
