Our natural birth signals our entry into this life. Our rebirth through water and the Spirit (Jn. 3:5), allows entry into the kingdom of God and the spiritual life. Both beginnings are gifts from God. But the journey involves taking deliberate steps to drawing closer to God (Jas. 4:8) and living in the power of Jesus' resurrection. This journey in the life of Christ includes the following: 1. Eating healthy - feeding on the word of God and the Eucharist. 2. Exercising - training the mind and heart to ponder the good, pure and holy. 3. Epitomising - letting the choices and actions reflect the presence of our risen Lord, who pulls us from the tomb of sin and negativity. Lord Jesus, help us to be real signs of Your saving presence in our journey, for You are our resurrection and our life. Amen.
